Mesh Media Strategies, located in Nashville, TN, is managed by Bill Hobbs, a former journalist with experience in newspapers, “new media” and media relations. Hobbs served as Director of Communications for the Tennessee Republican Party from November 2007 through May 2009. For the Tennessee GOP, he devised and implemented the communications strategy – a flexible mix of traditional press relations and social networking – which helped the Tennessee GOP achieve a historic victory in the November 2008 election by winning a majority of seats in both houses of the state legislature for the first time since 1869. Prior to that, Hobbs worked in university media relations, and in print and online media.
Mesh Media Strategies serves clients in business, politics and the non-profit world, both in Tennessee and in several other states.
